For many years, i have suffered with a skin complaint named Sebaceous Hyperplasia. This complaint means that any infection i get in the pores in my facial skin develops into nasty infections unless my preventative medication is used immediately. It has always been exacerbated by shaving. Since i purchased a Philips RQ1022 with its own cleansing system (Philips HQ200 Jet clean solution), i have noticed an immediate improvement. I am not going to count my chickens yet but i am optimistic that the cleansing solution will assist in controlling what has been for me an irritating circumstance.

As others have said this product is very expensive for what it is. I have found as others have that it does not really do a very good job in cleaning the head. If I had I time again I would not buy this razor again.

I use a philips arcitect razor. It can be cleaned by washing under warm running tap which I do. However, once
weekly I use philishave hq200 jet clean which thoroughly cleans the shaving heads and keeps the razor in pristeen
condition.
