Product Description Taken before food, it works by stimulating hunger sensors in the stomach wall, which then send a signal to the brain informing it that the stomach is full. Doctors believe that feeling full (satiation) is an essential factor in any diet for successful weight reduction. Because Appesat is active in your stomach before, during and after you eat it significantly increases the number of stomach full messages your brain receives allowing you to feel full for much longer. For best results combine Appesat with a reduced calorie diet and regular exercise.

It works. August 27, 2010 RW (Uk) Ok. This is how it works..
You take three tablets with 250ml water half an hour before each meal. The tablets swell inside your stomach, creating a ''full feeling'', the results of which are that you don't eat as much at meal times.
The theory behind it all is that the tablets encourage you to re-train your appetite. ie, you reduce the amount you eat, without the stress of feeling hungry.
Now, that's pretty much what it says on the leaflet that comes in the box, but I have to say that they do indeed appear to work..
I took three pills on the morning that they arrived.
Half an hour later and i couldn't finish my breakfast.
I usually have a bowl of cornflakes, two slices of toast and an apple.
But after taking the tablets, i only managed to finish the cornflakes. And i didn't feel hungry again until mid afternoon.
I took three tablets again, just before dinner. And again, i struggled to finish my usual portion size. Furthermore, I completely forgot to have a dessert! This time the full-feeling lasted until late-evening. I didn't snack once, which is very unusual for me.
Now, it is still early days. But on the face of it, Appesat does seem to be doing what it claims to be able to do..
The tablets make me feel full, and as a direct result I am eating a lot less.
So on the face of it, I would suggest that Appesat is not a con. It does work. But like anything, will-power is certainly required. You have to listen to your body when it tells you that you're full. All appesat does is make you feel full without the need to devour a mountain of food first.
Make of that what you will, but I will be definitely be ordering a 2nd box.

sadly for me it was a waste of money!
waste of money July 22, 2010 Ms. M. Mohamoud 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Appesat is a waste of money, it did not work it did not suppress my appetite and you need to drink a lot with each tablet (3 tablets three times a day) therefore a lot of trips to the toilet which is not practical at all, I do not recommend to any one. These celebs are paid to advertise their products do not fall for it..

Used with diet and weight training programme. Main problem was late evening eating and used then to curb appetite. Very effective for me just using once a day, enabling a 10lb weight loss in 2 weeks. Do not have much weight to lose and main focus is on building muscle now. I would certainly recommend it.
