These 'clippers' are extremely poor and although the design idea is a good one, in reality they have major flaws. As the blades are set in a circular shape around the inside, they rely on the fact the your head is exactly round like a ball - which noone's is!! As a result it cuts the hair on some parts of your head really short, and other parts it cant reach resulting in an unevan and 'tufty' cut! Waste of money!

What i like about this trimmer is that it does just as is stated. That is to shorten your hair a selected length from the head. It does'nt trim beards,and has quite a margin from the cutter to outer edge of guide,this means that you can't get close to your ears. The clippers do a grand job,but only If you have help. What is required now is a mini clipper whether it is Rotary or Oscilatory that can be adjusted for length and be used blind. Being bearded my obsevations hold true in my efforts to match up all facial hair.

I bought this for my husbands christmas - he used it about 3 times and then it just wouldn't charge up again so we ended up returning it and getting our money back. He also found that he had to keep going over his head for ages before it was cut evenly - and his hair is always kept short for his work as a butcher. Plus it had to be fully charged before it would work properly - and as soon as he started using it it didn't work effectively because the charge started to drop! It sounds a good idea but I think they need to iron out a few problems and produce a new model before we would think of buying another one - its back to his old trusty and reliable trimmer for my husband

I was a little concerned about some of the negative reviews that I read on this site prior to purchasing and they very nearly persuaded me to not purchase. In the end I thought that it's not that expensive a product and it represented about 5 haircuts, so was worth a punt. I am so pleased that I did decide to buy as I am delighted with the product. I use it about every 10 days and it cuts uniformly and well and cutting as frequently as this means that my hair is almost always much the same length, as opposed to using a barber about every 3 weeks so that by that time the hair is much longer and less well kept. I highly recommend this product.

Trimming with this gadget is great. You need to go through quite a few times, but this is the case with all the hair trimmers.
It does get a bit messy with hair so maybe better used in the bathtub. You dont need to see what u are doing anyway. When you don't hear hair being cut it means that length is even.
Built quality could be a bit better but hey, the pack gives a lot of stuff for under 50 pounds!
If you trim your hair in one length get it without a second thought.
