Big improvement over the older TT2020 September 6, 2010

I owned the TT2020, which was the first one Philips came out with.
The problem with that model was that the plastic covering would rather lime scale easily, as a result it would look gross, and caused some charging problems. Also that grooming device broke as the button on the centre got stuck.
This new model is a full metal body, and has a fancy charging stand, however its a bit flimsy though, but can taken when travelling, as it folds away.
The addition of the trimmer at the other end of the device, is a great addition. There are five trimming settings.
Its a great product a big improvement over older models.

This product is the best bodygroom product i have used to date it is very simple to use and boy does it shed that unwanted hair it must of completely done my back in under 30 minutes and i found very little soreness or redness after wards just a small ammount of aloevera gel will do the trick i did find removing the head to clean it tricky which is why i marked it down to 4 stars but overall a very good productPhilips TT2040 Rechargeable All-in-one Bodygroom Pro

I got this for my husband as he has only recently been introduced to the world of electrical shaving and I thought I would give him a nudge on to shaving his body bear- yes I do mean bear.
At first he was not too keen on the idea- he looked suspiciousily at the box and especailly at the photo of the well toned, hairless ,tanned young hunk on the box.
However when he opened it up his gadget head clicked in and things looked up. It a nice, sleek shaver with a handy stand and recharging facility .You will need an adapter as it is the classic two pin.
He has never removed hair from his body before so was very suspicious and agreed to try his chest- I was hoping he would start with his legs and bum but hey hoo, a comprimise was fine by me .It gave a good , clean fast shave and he never had any rashes , so all very good.The pivotal head really helped get around those awkward places and his curvy tum.
It is also easy to use in the shower which is great for the slightly lazy man and also my bathroom floor being kept clean.
He was quite chuffed with the results and has used it occasionaly since. He ventured on to his legs once- but although there were no problems and he was defuzzed in minutes he felt it looked too girly.
Overall he found this to be a good product- if it was suitable for the face- maybe with a seperate attachment I think it would definately be a huge hit and worth 6 stars. Maybe encourage men who normally wouldnt consider using a body trimmer .Also saves having two different shavers hanging about as this one tends to get put by more.
Overall if you are looking for a body trimmer this is great- fast, painless and compact.

Thanks to other reviews i purchased this product and think it is excellent. Very easy to use because of its shape and design. Would be 5 out of 5 if it didn't take so long to charge. I would recommend it to anyone.

It's ok gives a fairly close shave, but not as close as a manual razor, but because it's a wet/dry shaver it does make shaving quicker and easier. I have been cut quite few times when I was first using it so do what the instructions say and take it slow at first.
