Superoxide Dismutase (SOD)
This important antioxidant has a double hair growth effect, first it can increase the presence of intracelluar nitric oxide (NO) which has been shown to increase the size and section of the hair follicle. Secondly it reduces the effect of a highly destructive free radical called peroxynitrite that has been shown to be detrimental to the health of the hair follicle.

Capilecti
A lectin-like glycoprotein (a macromolecule composed of a protein and a carbohydrate) helping to agglutinate hair follicle cells together. It has been shown to expand the Anagen (growth) phase and shorten the Telegen (resting) phase by 17%.

Lo-Seb
Effective in reducing sebum (oil secreted by hair follicles) output by 16% and in normalising Seborrhea often implicated in alopecia. Lo-Seb also has been shown to increase the percentage of hair Anagen (growth) phase by 15% (from 74.6 to 85.5%) Lo-Seb is a complex of homotarine, bacterial filtrate peptides and marine derived sulphomucopollysaccharide extract.
